The Chicago-based Newedge Futures and Options School is aimed at financial industry professionals who wish to enhance their understanding of derivative products.

 

This world-renowned education program is taught by some of our most senior-level professionals. Courses have attracted participants from the world’s largest banks, government agencies, corporations and investment institutions. Courses are offered on a limited basis and are announced on this page.

The Newedge Research group offers a series of industry courses including:

 

Treasury Bond and Note Futures
Focuses on proper hedging techniques and the key macro-level relationships between the cash and futures treasury markets, basis trading, option-adjusted durations and DV01s and trade construction.

 

Crash Course on Eurodollar Futures Basics
Covers Eurodollar futures basics, futures/cash deposit relationships, present values, and zero coupon curves. The course is complementary for students registering for the Advanced Eurodollar Futures educational program.

 

Advanced Eurodollar Futures
An advanced user guide to pricing, hedging, and trading with Eurodollar futures. Topics include: the convexity bias, pricing and hedging swaps, and measuring and trading term TED spreads.

 

 

All courses are offered on a quarterly basis with attendance limited to clients on a first-come, first-served basis.
